The article is devoted to the study of internal disease picture in patients with urolithiasis. The authors studied the emotional state and characteristics of the response of patients with urolithiasis to their disease. The study presents data on the types of patient responses to stress depending on the personality characteristics of the patients and the course of the underlying disease. The patient’s attitude towards his health and the fact of the occurrence of the disease are also different and largely determine the duration, course and prognosis of disease. The personal significance of disease is one of the components of psychosocial reaction to disease, the features of which are also presented in the work. Much attention is paid in the article to the features of the psychological portrait of a urological patient and the emotional state of urological patients.
